I have a new friend. Just like me, this person drowned himself in alcohol last Tuesday after hearing the election news results. We both drunk and hungover mourning the loss of Sarah Palin and the other dude who was on her ticket. While I drank and watched Nailin Palin all night long, my new friend who has a job as the editor of a newspaper, took up the revenge mission a notch higher and did this

Newspaper Omits Obama Win / News 4, Your News Leader, 4 Warn Desktop Alert, Dothan, Wiregrass, WTVY Marketplace

The Sapulpa Daily Herald printed Wednesday’s paper like any other day.

Except for one omission….no mention that Barack Obama won presidential election.

One paragraph on the front page did report the majority of Creek County voted for McCain.

Bravo, my friend!!! I am going to find this editor and add him as my best budy in facebook or send him some tweets through twitter. As a tribute to this great deed, I am going to blogroll the newspaper. Find them in the “I Support” section of my blogroll.

With all due respect to effect blogging has had on these elections, I personally think blogging is not rocket science but is a nightmare because one has to think 24/7 to be absolutely fairly unique and at the end of the day, my writing shouln’t of be any replication of someone else.

If you smell incoherency, I was trying to follow some advice from the word-a-nistas at Oxford.

Hats Off – Hindi

The Election season is over. In all the euphoria, we should not forget the tremendous contribution of  the Hindi Language to this election. We lent the English language the most important word of this election season. People loved it when it was convenient and hated when it was not but the effect of the word can never be understated. Ladies, Gentlemen and everyone in between, I am calling this election for the word – “PUNDIT”
